Vintage French Globe + Lamp
I found this sweet globe at a market in Belgium. It is both a globe and a lamp! The globe is made of glass with a paper map covering. The paper has discolored in places and has several smallish rips and tears but they certainly do not detract from the charm of this globe! The base and stand are metal. As you can see, the base shows rusting. It is currently wired for a European plug and as the wiring is pretty old, I would recommend having it rewired if you want to use it as a lamp. On the side, it reads "Globe Terrestre Perrina" "19, rue des Minimes, Paris." Countries and other landmarks are also in French. It measures approximately 13 inches tall and the globe has an approximate circumference of 26 inches. This piece would be offer some lovely mood lighting at a wedding or in a home. Would be fun to have guests sign the globe in lieu of a guestbook.

Vintage mid-century Cram's Universal Terrestrial Globe
From my research, I've dated this handsome globe back to 1949 - would be stunning displayed at a wedding! It's in great condition for its age with only a few slight paper tears near the North Pole, some lost paint on the metal near the South Pole and a slightly bent metal cap at the top. Overall, it's in fantastic shape and it's a truly beautiful piece with such an old-school vibe. It was made by the George F. Cram Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Approximately 17" tall.
