Vintage European Metal Bottle Crates
While living in Europe, I scooped up several gorgeous French vintage bottle crates and I've decided to part with 8 of them - all listed on this page. While they were once used to hold wine or milk bottles, I think they would be stunning as floral centerpieces at a wedding or event holding milk bottles filled with flowers - I'm imagining creamy peonies with a dash of greenery - can you see it? ;) All crates were privately sourced by myself at various flea markets, brocantes and shops in Belgium, Germany and France. I believe the bottle crates date back to around the 1920-40s ... some earlier, some later. I'm happy to sell individually or in bundles. If you're interested in a bundle deal, please e-mail me at theclassicbride[at]gmail[dot]com.

No. 7 (above) // 8-bottle metal crate with some original mint-green paint still showing. Says "BABYMEL BONILAC" on the side - from research, this appears to be a European dairy brand so the crate most likely held milk bottles. The crate is heavily rusted which gives it a delicious patina. Rare. Sourced in Belgium.
